School Governors have an important role overseeing the school and holding its leaders to account. As a school we welcome and encourage feedback, whether that’s praise, suggestions for improvement or concerns. So if you have concerns about any aspect of school, you should first speak to your child’s teacher as soon as possible. If you still have concerns, any of the Year Leaders or the Deputy or Headteacher will be happy to meet with you to resolve any issues. Finally, Mrs Head is the one to contact if you still have concerns.
Governors generally only become involved if you have a complaint about how concerns have been handled, after they have already been raised with the school’s leadership team, verbally and in writing, without satisfaction. A copy of the school’s complaints policy is available on the website (under Policies) which explains this in more detail.

If you have an urgent matter, please contact the school directly, who can then contact a governor to pass on your message.
